1. Drink Lots of Water
Stay hydrated, drink lots of water to avoid dry, dull, and flaky skin. Drinking plenty of water not only makes your skin healthy but also improves overall health. Drink around 8-10 glasses of water every day. Your body needs water to eliminate the toxins from the body and will ensure good skin.
2. Follow A CTM Routine
CTM means Cleansing-Toning-Moisturizing. Every morning, cleanse your skin and before bedtime cleanse again to shed all the makeup and other impurities from your skin. Use a gentle cleanser that is best suited for your skin type and gently massage on your face and rinse off. Toning helps prep your skin for the next step in your skincare routine. And lastly, Moisturizing is very important to keep your skin hydrated. Even oily skin needs moisturizer, use lightweight or gel-based for oily skin. For dry skin, a cream-based moisturizer works well. Consider a moisturizer that contains SPF to protect your skin against the sun’s rays.
Exfoliating is very important. It helps to get rid of dead cells. The dead skin cells can make your skin appear dark, dull, patchy, and dry. Hence exfoliating once a week is crucial for healthy skin. Exfoliating before bedtime is better rather than day. Overnight skin is in the process of renewal and will improve the functioning of the skin. Gently exfoliate on your face.
